PrinterPix TERRIBLE Customer Service MASSIVE phone charges!!! - PrinterPix Photobooks
Late last year, I ordered a photobook from Printerpix . I had used them before and was reasonably happy with the results for the price I paid because they were a low price on GroupOn.
Anyway, I wanted this particular book delivered to a friend as it was a Christmas present.
Due to a postcode error, the book was eventually sent back to the PrinterPix depot.
Not sure if that was my error or theirs, but the main problem is what followed...
When I realised there was a problem with the delivery, I went on to the PrinterPix website and used their "WEBCHAT" to explain that it needed redelivering.
I was told that the Webchat customer service team could not help and I would have to telephone the company. I could not even sort it out by emailing them.
I asked how much the phone calls cost and was advised ;
"Calls will cost no more than 5.5p per minute. Call charges from Non-BT lines and mobile phones may vary"
I don't have a BT landline but do have inclusive minutes on my mobile phone.
One call was 13 minutes on hold before I gave up because I had to get to work.
The next day it took me another 35 minutes of mostly being on hold before they sorted the problem out.
I then got a phone bill and the calls to the company had cost £27.33!
I had expected around £3 to £3.50...
The books only cost about £10 in the first place!
I have tried on numerous occasions to get some kind of recompense for this as I was misled about the phone charges and was also angry about how long I was on hold for but have been repeatedly told that they will not give any refund of call charges.
The best they have offered is "Free postage on your next order"!!!!!!
I consider that to be an insult to be honest.
